The origins of Mas de la Sabatera can be retraced back to the 15th century when the inhabitants of Prenafeta relocated to the foot of the mountains of Tossal Gros.
Formally known as Mas d’en Sabater, day laborers, shepherds and farmers have lived and worked for here for centuries. All these residents have lived off the land surrounding the farmhouse, from olive oil production to livestock farming and winemaking.
After being abandoned in the mid and late 20th century, when the only work that mattered was outside, today we find ourselves recovering everything from the inside.
