Back then generations after generations, today father and son. Not that we’ve found the holy spirit yet, but we know where the heart behind our project is.
“In 2020 my father, Xavi, asked me that if I like wine so much why didn’t we start making it ourselves with our own grapes, if it weren’t for lack of grapes!” — Edu Pallarés
Seen that we had the grapes, we only lacked the value behind them. What better way of adding value than making wine with them? And so, we started “rescuing” selected plots and prioritizing the quality of their grapes and the health of its soil.
Step by step, we are allowing ourselves to put more heart into what we do and what surrounds us. Step by step, we are allowing ourselves to be more creative in what we do. Step by step, we are adding more value to what we have inherited and what we want to pass down.
We can try to be as romantic as we want, but we wouldn’t be getting anywhere if it weren’t for these hands.
Not the prettiest hands in Conca de Barberà to be honest, but they’re the hands that help us keep both feet on the ground and build new realities on a daily basis. This team knows every corner of our forests, vineyards, fields and trees. Not precisely due to leisure walks, but rather to working our landscape mornings, afternoons and nights; the same landscape that has provided for many families during generations.
The real "boss", the reason why we still fight year after year. Despite being retired, you will find him fixing doors, clearing forests or doing storage in the farmhouse.
Boss on paper, intern on a day-to-day basis and quite a "drama queen". Comfort zone is with a glass of wine (or beer). Too many ideas for too few vintages.
Aka "Mishi", is pure curiosity and passion. You know when your computer freezes and you hit Ctrl+Alt+Del? Well, we have Albert to solve our daily dramas!
A real "machine", and you will always find him roaming around the vineyards, or fixing any damage. His favorite phrase? "We could do this by machine."
Don't be afraid, he’s all heart and tenderness; and let's be honest, he can be a bit scary at times, but the vineyards couldn't be in better hands. Always next to Boira.
Let's not forget who the real guardian of this farmhouse is. No rabbit runs between the vines without her permission. Always by Ramon's side.
